Holy Father in Heaven:─
We love you and thank you for your benevolence toward us. You treat us according to your lovingkindness, not according to our importance. Thank you for your grace toward us, through the free gift of your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ.
You are sovereign above all. None can dispute your word and survive. You are faithful in everything and do exactly what you promise to do. In your faithfulness we rest and find motivation to continue.
We ask not for a miraculous and public sign ─ those have been given already ─ but for the quiet power of your Spirit to add virtue to faith and to add willing hearers to the Kingdom.
You have given us all we need for our service to Christ. Let all praise you and honor you, with thanksgiving in our hearts every single day. Make us see the resources at hand.
Our boldness comes from Christ. In him we pray. Amen.
