CAMDEN, Alabama (BNc) Annie Rowell of Camden, Alabama, enjoys making greeting cards for patients in the local nursing facility. She purchases blank cards, hand-selects adhesive graphics, and goes to work designing each card front. When the outside of the card is designed, she selects an appropriate scripture from her Bible for each card and handwrites it on the inside. Annie’s goal is to make 35 cards monthly and deliver them to the activity director at the Camden Nursing facility for distribution to the patients. Annie finds great joy in helping to brighten the day of those receiving her beautiful cards.

Annie’s eyesight is poor. She is often seen using a large magnifying glass to help her see more clearly.
