Since our annual average snowfall is about four and one half inches, this recent snow-and-ice mixture, coupled with about ten days of sub-freezing temperatures has forced us to realize some things:

Since “snow [comes] from heaven” (Isaiah 55:10), bringing its “treasury” (Job 38:22), then God has blessed us by this outpouring.

No human effort caused or stopped this winter blast because God promised, “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease"(Genesis 8:22), and God is still in charge.

There is no “climate change” or “global warming,” for our part of the globe still obeys God, not man!

God promised that our sins “shall be as white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18), so “Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’ (Acts 22:16).
