Thoughts while reading the Psalms
God has been patient with us in our struggles, fears and frustrations.
God has kept his promises, for we have never lacked anything.
God has given us his security, protecting us at every moment.
God has been full of grace toward us, giving us abundance, joy and peace.
God has held us up through the valley of darkness when there was no one to guide us.
God has always been present, whether in solitude, in the press of crowds, or in the doubts of the night.
God has disciplined us through his family of faith, through suffering in the world and through internal agonies.
God is good, God is light, God is love in the Lord Jesus. Amen!
