HAVE YOU EVER had the experience of hearing someone knock at your front door at 3:00 A.M….?
If so, you know what an unnerving experience it is. You stumble out of bed, turn on the porch light, look through the peep hole in the door. If they are not recognizable, no matter how insistent they are, you don’t open the door.
THOUGHT: We need to protect our minds as we protect our homes. Just as we cannot control who knocks on our front door, we cannot always control the thoughts that seek residence in our minds. But we can determine if such thoughts are heavenly or earthly, and refuse to allow them to take residence in our thinking. (Robert Jeffress)
