The apostles hated by many

Jesus warned the apostles that before the destruction of Jerusalem, they would suffer greatly,

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake” (Matthew 24:9).

Therefore, the apostles had full knowledge of what would happen to them, yet, they preached anyway. Why did they continue as disciples of Christ, and why did they seek to persuade people everywhere to become disciples of Christ, although hated, and even persecuted to death?
