Earth and seas

Imagine the earth as a ball of water, and then God says,

“‘Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear’; and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good” (Genesis 1:9–10).

What a sight that must have been! God said for something to be, and it was. The elements of the globe obeyed Him, and dry land appeared, which God called Earth, and since the waters of the globe were then separated, He named them Seas. What an awesome work that must have been!

Great is our God, and mighty are all His works from the beginning until now!
