Do not conspire against the Lord

People have tried it since the beginning, but they fail every time.
Nahum revealed the futility of conspiring against the Lord,

“What do you conspire against the Lord? He will make an utter end of it. Affliction will not rise up a second time. For while tangled like thorns, and while drunken like drunkards, they shall be devoured like stubble fully dried. From you comes forth one who plots evil against the Lord, a wicked counselor” (Nahum 1:9–11).

Who would dare do such a silly thing? The Lord will so make an end of the conspirators that they shall not do it a second time, because they will be like a drunkard in thorns, and then they shall be burned up.
