Glory and dominion belong to our God

When Peter concluded the teaching portion of his first letter, and just before he added some personal greetings, he stated something that is found throughout the Bible, and for which all his teaching was aimed, and that makes possible our friendships in the church that he was about to address,

“To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen” (1 Peter 5:11).

To God belongs the glory. To God belongs the dominion forever and ever. Do you agree with Peter? Then say, Amen.

As you go through your day today, remind yourself that the glory and the dominion belong to our God, and see what it does to your spirit, and see how it affects the way you live.
