Writing of our Lord and Master, the writer of Hebrews said,
“For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (Hebrews 2:10).
Jesus of Nazareth became our perfect Savior as He went through horrible sufferings. The hope of heaven that we have, came at a great cost to Jesus, and for that matter to His Father.
Please do not think of turning away from the Lord, but remain faithful to Him all the days of your life, remembering what He did to secure your salvation.
