Read to discover why Paul told the Philippians that they needed to obey,
“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” (Philippians 2:12-13).
He encouraged them to obey the Lord, working out their own salvation, because God worked in them for His own purposes.
Are you a disciple of Jesus Christ? If so, now you know that God works in you that you might accomplish His good pleasure. Let that motivate you to obey Him.
