Unified, but different measures of grace

In Ephesians 4:1-6 Paul exhorted us to seek the unity of the Spirit, but then the apostle quickly said,

“But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift” (Ephesians 4:7).

Let us seek unity in matters of the Spirit, but simultaneously recognize that each of us differs in what we can do in the body of Christ. Do not put down one because he cannot do what you can do, and do not put yourself down because you cannot do what someone else can do.

Let us use our gifts that we have received from the Lord Jesus Christ to promote His unity in the church.
