First Corinthians 15 teaches that our natural bodies shall be resurrected, but that God shall change them into spiritual bodies, so that the difference between the natural body and the spiritual is so great that Paul illustrated it like this,
“Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body” (1 Corinthians 15:36-38).
Does the plant resemble the seed from which it came? Does the seed resemble the plant that it shall become? Yet, it was the seed that became the plant. Likewise, it is our natural bodies God shall raise from the grave, but He will so transform our bodies that the former shall not resemble the latter, and the latter shall be far greater than anything we can imagine!
