The glory of God in His place

The psalmist spoke to God,

“Arise, O LORD, to Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength. Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness, and let Your saints shout for joy” (Psa 132:8-9).
David vowed to build a resting place for God at Jerusalem, and after Solomon built the place, it was magnificent, and the people wanted God to inhabit this new place and that the priests would do their work, and for the rest of the people to shout for joy.
Likewise, God dwells in the community of people whom we call the church. Let us praise God that even as He inhabited that temple, so He inhabits the church.
