Pleading for God to hear

Does God hear our prayers? Yes. Do we ever take that for granted? Probably more than we realize. Perhaps for this reason the sons of Korah wrote a prayer to God in this fashion,

“O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah O God, behold our shield, and look upon the face of Your anointed” (Psalm 84:8-9).

The sons of Korah, who wrote Psalm 84, did not look upon God as their servant, but in the reverse. Therefore, they pleaded for Him to listen to them.
How do you view God? Is He your servant or are you His servant?
