Two hundred seventy-six people!

When you read of the ship in Acts 27 that endured a horrible storm on the Mediterranean Sea, you might think it was something small with a few people onboard, but Luke gave the number of people,

“And in all we were two hundred and seventy-six persons on the ship” (Acts 27:37).

Paul used the storm to speak of God, and we know that it influenced some, especially the centurion in charge of Paul.

You never know who you might influence in the difficulties of life, but when difficulties do arise, see them as opportunities to show the life of Christ in you.
