We read of the work of Philip in Acts 8, but we find him again in Acts 21, and Luke said of him,
“Now this man had four virgin daughters who prophesied. And as we stayed many days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea” (Acts 21:9-10).
Luke showed us some amazing things:
1. Philip had four daughters who were virgins.
2. Philip was an evangelist, but he had a home.
3. Philip’s home was large enough to accommodate his family, and the travelers who were with Luke.
Philip used his family, himself, and his home for God’s glory and the furtherance of the church.
