Do you hunger for baptism?

Philip used Isaiah 53 to preach to a treasurer from Ethiopia about Jesus (Acts 8:35), and evidently that included mentioning baptism and its purpose, for this happened,

“Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, ‘See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?’” (Acts 8:36).

Why was the Ethiopian treasurer so urgent? If you have never been baptized, do you feel the same urgency? If you have been baptized, were you urgent about it, or was something lacking?
