A great enemy prepared to fight Judah, and it terrified Judah and King Jehoshaphat. He prayed magnificently to God, acknowledging that they had no power against this formidable army, and that they did not know what to do, but their eyes were upon Him. Then the Bible says,
“Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the LORD” (2 Chronicles 20:13).
They stood before the Lord, fully expecting Him to answer the prayer of their king, and they were right to do so, for the Lord did. For those times when we do not know what to do, or do not have the power to solve a situation, present it to God, confessing either ignorance or strength, or both, and then wait for Him to work.
