The Levites had many duties, including teaching. Therefore, King Jehoshaphat sent Levites throughout his kingdom to teach,
“Also in the third year of his reign he sent his leaders…to teach in the cities of Judah. And with them he sent Levites…and with them…the priests. So they taught in Judah, and had the Book of the Law of the LORD with them; they went throughout all the cities of Judah and taught the people” (2 Chronicles 17:7-9).
This produce good things in Judah, even as teaching the word of God today by Christians improves a church, and the town in which that church resides. Can you teach? Do so. If you cannot, find a way to support those who can and do.
