We have the priests

King Abijah of Judah spoke to Israel before a battle between the two nations,

“Have you not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and made for yourselves priests, like the peoples of other lands, so that whoever comes to consecrate himself with a young bull and seven rams may be a priest of things that are not gods?” (2 Chronicles 13:9).

The king showed Israel that they had forsaken the God of their fathers, including casting out as priests the ones whom God had designated, whereas, by implication the king showed that Judah still retained the God-ordained priests.
Therefore, Judah was in the right, Israel in the wrong, and the latter could not win. Sure enough that is the way it happened.
Friends, we need to see that being right with God makes all the difference in the world, not only when it comes to our individual churches and congregations, but in all of life our relationship with God or lack of it, determines what our lives shall be.
