Blessing those who have blessed us
A Shunammite woman had blessed Elisha and his assistant Gehazi. Therefore, Elisha wanted to bless her, and so he asked Gehazi to call her to them (2 Kings 4.12).
He then said to her,
“Look, you have been concerned for us with all this care. What can I do for you? Do you want me to speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?” She said simply, “I dwell among my own people” (2 Kings 4:13).
Gehazi informed Elisha that she had no children and her husband was old.
Therefore, Elisha prophesied that in a year she would have a child, although she initially denied that it could happen. However, a year later she had a son (2 Kings 4.14-17).
When people bless us, that not only makes us happy, but it makes God happy, and so if we desire to bless as we have blessed, the Lord God is happy to make the means available.
Find someone who has blessed you and find a way to bless him or her.
