Women proclaim the resurrection
Women witnessed the resurrected Christ,
“Then they returned from the tomb and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles” (Luke 24:9-10).
The apostles would later be the prime proclaimers of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but initially they heard from these women, before whom the Lord chose to appear.
Perhaps they did not get to go into all the world preaching as the apostles did, but they got things started for the apostles.
You may not have an exalted role in doing something for God, but He may use you to get someone else’s spiritual fire going, and that person may do incalculable good.
