Striking the Christ

Watch what the Jews did to Jesus,

“And having blindfolded Him, they struck Him on the face and asked Him, saying, ‘Prophesy! Who is the one who struck You?’” (Luke 22:64).

They blindfolded Him, and asked Him to identify the one striking Him, because if He was the Christ, He could identify the striker, although He could not see who hit Him.
However, what good would it have done Him, if He had revealed the name of the striker? They would not have changed their minds and treated Him better.

What if those men never repented? What shall it be like for them when they appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ?

Have you repented of your sins? Remember we shall all appear before Him.
