If you read Ephesians 6:10-20, you will discover that you have put on the armor of God, as a Christian. However, why do you put on armor? Is it not to fight?
Goliath asked Israel a similar question,
“Then he stood and cried out to the armies of Israel, and said to them, ‘Why have you come out to line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and you the servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves, and let him come down to me’” (1 Samuel 17:8).
He then proposed an agreement and defied the armies of Israel (1 Samuel 17:9, 10).
Why did Israel line up for battle, if they would not go down to fight Goliath? Fear struck the heart of every Israelite, paralyzing them from doing what God would help them do.
Has fear paralyzed you from doing what God said He would help you do? If so, pray for courage and then do what You have to do.
