A blessed mother-in-law

The husband and sons of Naomi died in the land of Moab, but she heard that the Lord had blessed the land of Israel, and she decided to return, and her daughters-in-law went with her (Ruth 1:7).

Then she realized that they should stay in their homeland and remarry, but they saw the blessing that they had in her as a mother-in-law, and they did not want to leave her,

“And Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, ‘Go, return each to her mother’s house. The LORD deal kindly with you, as you have dealt with the dead and with me. The LORD grant that you may find rest, each in the house of her husband.’ So she kissed them, and they lifted up their voices and wept” (Ruth 1:8-9).

What kind of woman was Naomi that her daughters-in-law loved her so? What kind of in-law are you, whether a parent-in-law or a child-in-law?
