From majesty to tragedy

The miracles of Jesus made people marvel, but then the Bible says,

“And they were all amazed at the majesty of God. But while everyone marveled at all the things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples, ‘Let these words sink down into your ears, for the Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men’” (Luke 9:43-44).

People marveled at the majesty of God revealed through Jesus, but it would not be too long before they demanded His death, and even one of His own disciples would turn Him over to death.

Public opinion changes fast. Prepare for it.
