Korah and many other leaders in Israel believed that Moses exalted himself to be the leader of Israel (Remember Moses was the man who did everything he could to persuade the Lord to get someone else for the job), but in so doing Korah and his friends found out against whom they truly rebelled, “Therefore you and all your company are gathered together against the LORD. And what is Aaron that you complain against him?” (Numbers 16:11).
The Lord selected Moses, and the Lord selected Aaron. Therefore, Korah was not rebelling against Moses and Aaron, but against the Lord, and for that, Korah and his friends paid an awful price.
When you complain against someone, think carefully who that person is, and the Lord’s part in that person’s life.
