What our burdens say the Lord thinks of us

The Israelites wanted meat to eat, but Moses did not know how to provide for them, so he spoke to the Lord,

“So Moses said to the LORD, ‘Why have You afflicted Your servant? And why have I not found favor in Your sight, that You have laid the burden of all these people on me?’” (Numbers 11:11).

Why did the Lord lay upon Moses the burden of Israel?

First, the Lord knew that Moses could do it. Second, the Lord knew that Moses did not act alone, but that the Lord would supply whatever was needed. Why then do you have burdens in your life? The Lord has confidence in you that you can handle them, and He is waiting for you to seek His help.
