If an Israelite sinned against someone and needed to make restitution, and the offended party had no family, then the offender was to bring his offering to the tabernacle,
“Every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring to the priest, shall be his. And every man’s holy things shall be his; whatever any man gives the priest shall be his” (Numbers 5:9-10).
By this means, the Lord provided for the priests, and He provided a way for the offender to make things right.
The Lord always works everything to benefit people when they want to make things right, and in the process, He takes care of those who minister to His people.
Therefore, if you have wronged someone, do what you can to make things right, and if that person is no longer available, then find another way to benefit the cause of Jesus Christ.
