Be worthy for the Lord’s wedding

Jesus compared the Kingdom of Heaven to a wedding that a king threw for his son.

However, the first wave of guests turned down the wedding invitation, and the king said,

“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests” (Matthew 22:8-10)

God the Father wants as many people who want to be part of His Son to be invited and gathered for the day of the great wedding feast (See Revelation 19).
However, simply because someone is invited does not mean they get to attend, as the Lord showed in this parable, but we have to respond to the invitation, which in this case is the preaching of the good news of Jesus Christ.
