Complaining

Israel complained about being in the wilderness,

“Then Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel, ‘At evening you shall know that the LORD has brought you out of the land of Egypt. And in the morning you shall see the glory of the LORD; for He hears your complaints against the LORD. But what are we, that you complain against us?’” (Exodus 16:6-7).

It is a dangerous things to complain against the Lord, and it is a useless thing to complain against His servants.

Israel soon discovered that complaining against the Lord and against His servants brings severe consequences. Let us learn from Israel to watch our tongues lest we sin against the God of heaven and bring something horrible upon ourselves.
