The disciples saw Jesus walking on the water and feared, but instantly, to comfort His disciples, He said, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid” (Matthew 14:27). Jesus always looked out for other people. However, Peter challenged the Lord,
“And Peter answered Him and said, ‘Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water’” (Matthew 14:28).
Peter did not do anything wrong, but he was right, that if it was the Lord, He would be able to command Peter to do the same thing.
