I have often heard people say that if we could all trace our genealogies back far enough, we would discover that we have all descended from common parents, Adam and Eve, but you do not have to go back that far to find our single common parents,
“Now the sons of Noah who went out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And Ham was the father of Canaan. These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated” (Genesis 9:18-19).
We are all related in Noah. Everyone on the earth is your family in some way.
The Book of Genesis, especially chapters 10 and 11, show the whole earth descending from Noah’s family.
Should this have any influence on how you treat others?
