In Second Peter 1:5-7, Peter listed what we call the Christian Graces, which are faith, virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love.
Then the apostle said,
“For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:8).
Possess the Christian Graces and continue to grow in them, and you will insure that your knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ will be fruitful.
If you are not fruitful in your knowledge of the Lord Jesus, then see how you are doing on the Christian Graces and make whatever improvements need to be made.
