God’s timing

God does things when He knows the time is right.

In our eyes, we might say that the time for Him to have sent Jesus occurred when Adam and Eve sinned, but God had to put many things in place first, and teach things to the world, and when those things had completion, God sent His Son, “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons” (Galatians 4:4-5).

When the time came, and not a second before or after, God sent His Son, causing Him to be born of a woman during the time of the Law. Not only did Jesus redeem those living this side of His life and death, but He also rescued those living under the Law.

For all people, Paul said, God could now receive us through adoption as sons. Would you think on those two verses. Think on what God did that He might receive you as a son or daughter. Also, dwell on the idea that you are a son or daughter of God.
