Waiting for an opportunity

For someone with great zeal, waiting can be difficult, nevertheless, those with great zeal and wisdom from God, know that sometimes you have to wait, just as Paul did,

“But I will tarry in Ephesus until Pentecost” (1 Corinthians 16:8).

He wanted to get to Jerusalem for the Feast of Pentecost, knowing the great evangelistic opportunity it would give him, which meant that he could not go to Corinth, but had to wait for a while in Ephesus.

He kept his focus on his goal, and that made waiting easier.
