Whether you are single or married, Paul wrote, “I suppose therefore that this is good because of the present distress—that it is good for a man to remain as he is” (1 Corinthians 7:26).
Being single is good and being married is good. If someone chooses to remain single, we should not think such a person odd or that something is wrong with him. Paul argued that the single person can do more for the Lord.
Yet, marriage is good also. Many young people today are staying away from marriage because they see many marriages falling apart, leading them to believe that marriage is old and outdated. So, they begin living together or turning to homosexuality.
However, God ordained marriage and He knew what He was doing creating marriage. In marriage, a man and a woman can serve the Lord.
Whichever state you are in, use it for the glory of God.
