Do you have something against the Old Testament?

For some reason, many Christians do not read the Old Testament. Are you one of those people? If so, why?

Listen to the New Testament speak of the Old Testament,

“For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope” (Romans 15:4).

Do you need knowledge? Do you need patience? Do you need comfort? Do you need hope?

Paul quoted the Old Testament in Romans 15:3 and then made the application that I quoted above in Romans 15:4. The Holy Spirit through Paul’s writing told us that the place to get knowledge, patience, comfort, and hope is in the Old Testament.

Now, tell me why you do not read the Old Testament!
