Using family

Some people can see no wrong in their family members and other people can see no good in their family members. Yet, God gave us families and Paul used his family to great advantage.

Paul’s nephew learned of a plot by the Jews to ambush Paul while the Romans transported him, but when the nephew told Paul, he knew what to do, “Then Paul called one of the centurions to him and said, ‘Take this young man to the commander, for he has something to tell him’” (Acts 23:16-19).

The commander took Paul’s nephew in private and learned of the plot, and the Romans made plans to protect Paul.

Why do some people put themselves at odds with everyone, even their own families? Do you do that? Why? Start today to see that God has put people around you, family, friends, and acquaintances to help you.
