You cried to God during the day and you cried to Him at night, but it seemed that He did not hear. The psalmist knew the feeling,
O My God, I cry in the daytime, but You do not hear;
And in the night season, and am not silent.
David knew that feeling, but he wrote on behalf of the Son of God, because Psalm 22 shows the pains He would feel during the crucifixion.
He hung on the cross, separated from His Father for our sakes, but later they reconnected, again, for our sakes.
It pained the Son to feel the separation of His Father so that we do not have to feel the pain. Are you and God one?
