In the Middle of Great Happenings, the Lord Provides the Necessities

Jesus appeared to some of His disciples as they fished, and they were fishing because they did not know what else to do. They witnessed the death of Jesus, heard of His resurrection, and saw proof of it, because He had appeared to them.
Still, they did not know what to do. So He appeared to them again as they fished, and they did not realize it was Him initially. When they finally recognized Him, they went to Him on the lake shore.
“Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread” (John 21:9).
He then provided breakfast for them. Here He was the Son of God after His resurrection, and He was about to send them into all the world to preach the good news associated with Him and salvation for all people, and the Bible shows Him with a fire, fish, and bread ready, and He used some of the fish that they had caught!
Jesus sees the big picture, especially the spiritual picture, but that does not mean He neglects our daily needs. Believe in Him with all your heart.
