Ministering With Music

After listing certain men involved in music, Ezra wrote, “They were ministering with music before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of meeting, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem, and they served in their office according to their order” (1 Chronicles 6:32).
They ministered with music. Music in the church is not time-filler before we get to the sermon. Nor is it merely something to prepare us for the sermon, although it can certainly do that.
Music is a ministry itself. God wants it because He loves to hear His saints sing. Therefore, give your all to singing during the worship services that you might provide a much needed ministry to those who need to hear the words of the songs.
