Make a Commitment

Let us not play around with religion, and let us do as King Josiah did, “Then the king stood by a pillar and made a covenant before the LORD, to follow the LORD and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes, with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people took a stand for the covenant” (2 Kings 23:3).
Josiah made up his mind on what he would do and he did it. He wanted to do all that the Lord commanded and Josiah wanted to do it with all his heart and with all his soul. Do you see a problem with that?
Interestingly, all the people of Judah stood with him in doing this.
How many people could we influence if we made a commitment like that?
