The Garments of Jesus

What did Jesus own? As we might say in America, nothing but the shirt on His back, yet, when the Jews and the Romans crucified Him, Luke says, “And they divided His garments and cast lots” (Luke 23:34).
To the Romans, they just saw His garments as another reason to gamble. Who would get the special clothes of this popular, but hated Jew? So, they cast lots to see who would get His clothing.
Jesus only owned the clothes on His body, yet, He owned the world, and what is more important, He owned, and still owns, the hearts of all who follow Him.
Does He own your heart?
