Traditions, Traditions, and More Traditions

Mark spoke of the Pharisees and of the Jews, “When they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other things which they have received and hold, like the washing of cups, pitchers, copper vessels, and couches” (Mark 7:4).
These things they had elevated to law, so that if someone did not do these things, they were sinning, as far as the Pharisees thought.
Have you elevated some traditions to that level? If so, be careful, for these Pharisees and Jews rejected Christ because He did not keep their traditions.
