The Lord Does Not Want to Frighten You

Peter, James, and John saw Jesus transformed into a glorious appearance and Moses and Elijah also joined Him. Then the three disciples heard the voice of God Himself and they fell on their faces, greatly afraid.
Then Matthew wrote, “But Jesus came and touched them and said, ‘Arise, and do not be afraid'” (Matthew 17:7).
The Lord frightens us sometimes, but that is not His goal. If He wanted to frighten us, He could do it easily, but if you are His disciple He reassures you that you do not have to be afraid, but if you walk with Him, you can walk in peace.
Be brave!
