A Troubled Spirit

We have troubled spirits for various reasons, and so different things will solve the problem. King Saul had a troubled spirit because of his rebellion against God, but David playing the harp for the king soothed his spirit.
The Pharaoh of Joseph’s time had a troubled spirit one morning because of dreams that he had that night, but initially he could not find help, “Now it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt and all its wise men. And Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them for Pharaoh” (Genesis 41:8).
However, he later learned about Joseph who told Pharaoh the meaning of his dreams, and Joseph gave credit to God, and the troubled spirit of Pharaoh finally had peace.
When your spirit is troubled, find out why, then regardless of the reason, seek God, but also do what you have to do to fix the problem.
Seek God in all things!
