People Grow Up

Jacob left Esau, because he wanted to kill Jacob who had twice taken valuable things from Esau. Twenty years later, they reunited. However, both men had changed greatly. Esau did not want to kill his brother, but even wanted to provide protection for him, and Jacob did not want to take from his brother, but insisted on giving him things (Genesis 33:8-11).
Both men had grown up, walking closer to God than they had before, and they both saw how God had blessed them richly in life. Therefore, they did not hate each other and did not try to take from one another.
Did you have a conflict with someone when you two were younger, do not assume that he or she is the same today as yesterday, but he may have changed even as you have changed.
