The Lord Knows

The Lord knows whatever can be known and whatever is to be known. For example, He asked Abraham where his wife was and he told the Lord that she was in the tent, but later as Sarah listened to the conversation between the Lord and her husband, she laughed at the promise of the Lord that, although she was close to 90 years old, she would have a son. She denied laughing, but the Lord affirmed that she had and she could not deny it (Genesis 18:9-15).
The Lord appeared not to know where Sarah was, but He knew precisely what she was doing.
She thought He did not know what He promised by saying they would have a child the following year, but they did have a son.
Never assume that the Lord does not know things, for He knows whatever can be known and He knows whatever is to be known.
